biographical note
Ana Francisco is Assistant Professor at the DCFM. She obtained her degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from FFUL and her PhD in Pharmacy- Pharmaceutical Chemistry from UL (2005). Her main research interests are the design, synthesis and development of drugs and prodrugs for cancer therapy. Other research interests include chemical optimization of bioactive molecules and stability and metabolic studies of drugs and prodrugs.
